The 4th Annual Consortium of Ethiopian Economics Departments (CEED) was held at the University of Kebri Dehar on February 1, 2025, bringing together economists, researchers, and professionals from across Ethiopia to discuss critical economic issues. The event featured insightful presentations, including Dr. Nasir Yunis’ analysis of Ethiopia’s post-reform exchange rate dynamics and Abdukerim Ahmed’s study on the impact of climate change on food security. The workshop also included a report by Yohannes Kumie, Head of the Economics Department at Kebri Dehar, which outlined the CEED’s achievements and challenges. The event concluded with certificates awarded to distinguished participants and a networking lunch.
