Linkages in the Ethiopian Manufacturing Industry: a Preliminary Assessment

The objective of this paper is to examine the sustainability of Ethiopian public Debt and to infer its fiscal policy evaluates the fiscal policy implications of debt relief under different donors’ behavior and growth scenarios. The results implications. It evaluates debt sustainability using Conventional techniques of stationarity and co-integration. It further suggest that while conventional tests indicate that the Ethiopian debt is sustainable but these tests are inadequate and do not address the fiscal implications of the burden of debt and its inter-temporal trade offs. When such issues are incorporated,the opportunity cost of the debt is significant
