Dear Members,
In relation with its strategic objectives, the EEA has offered practical skill training to its members and the concerned government officers on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis using Stata/Frontier from November 6-10/2021. EEA has conducted competency gap and need assessment on the training topics especially from Universities. The intention of this specific training is to equip training participants with practical skills of data management, manipulation, analysis, and interpretation of findings using real-world datasets using Stata/Frontier. The current training has been offered for 23 member individuals. Majority of the trainees are from Universities, which implies that the training will have strong positive multiplier effect. The training cost has been fully covered by Open Society Initiative for East Africa (OSIEA), and EEA is thankful for the organization. Dr. Degye Goshu, Director for Research and Policy mas made a welcome and opening remark. The training was officially closed by Dr. Semeneh Bessie, Partnership and Communication Director of the EEA.
