In a concerted effort to bolster information dissemination and enhance public engagement, the Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA) and Hagerie Television have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This landmark agreement was ceremoniously signed at the EEA’s headquarters in Addis Ababa on May 13, 2024, symbolizing a significant stride towards collaborative endeavors in research, training, event organization, and fostering a culture of communication for mutual benefit.
Professor Mengistu Ketema, CEO of the EEA, underscored the potential of the partnership, emphasizing its capacity to broaden the reach of the association’s research and economic insights. “This MoU affords us the opportunity to disseminate our findings to a wider audience,” he affirmed. Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Fitsum Alemayehu, Managing Director of Hagerie TV, expressed unwavering commitment to providing valuable information and resources to viewers. “This partnership with the EEA will enable us to offer more comprehensive coverage of critical economic issues pertinent to Ethiopians,” he affirmed.
Through the amalgamation of their resources and expertise, the EEA and Hagerie Television aspire to achieve their shared objectives and contribute significantly to the socio-economic advancement of Ethiopia, Africa, and beyond.
