Ethiopian Economics Association and Rework Inc. Forge Alliance to Enhance Capacity Building

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering research, training, and capacity building efforts, the Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA) and Rework Inc. have officially solidified their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony, held at the EEA’s headquarters in Addis Ababa on May 13, 2024, marks the inception of a promising partnership.

Professor Mengistu Ketema, CEO of the EEA, expressed enthusiasm about the alliance, stating, “This MoU allows us to leverage our strengths alongside Rework’s expertise in capacity building. Together, we aim to deliver impactful training programs and contribute to a more skilled workforce across various domains.” Ms. Yewubdar Tasew, CEO of Rework Inc., echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their dedication to supporting economic development. “We are excited to collaborate with the EEA and share our proficiency in developing effective training and strategy solutions,” she affirmed.

The MoU outlines joint responsibilities, emphasizing integrity, transparency, and accountability in pursuit of shared objectives. Through this collaborative alliance, the EEA and Rework Inc. aspire to cultivate a culture of communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual agreement. This partnership is poised to advance research, training, and capacity building efforts not only within Ethiopia but also throughout Africa and beyond.
