On the opening remark, H.E. Tirumar Abate, State Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Ministry of Planning and Development made a keynote address. In her address, H.E Mrs. Tirumar thanked the ICED staff for choosing Ethiopia for this conference. She also appreciated, the EEA, PSI and other stakeholders who made this conference very successful. Her Excellency invited H.E. Ato Sileshi Girma, state Minister of Tourism of Ethiopia to officially open the conference. Accordingly, the 6th E2A conference and Exhibition was officially opened by H.E Ato Sileshi Girma the State Minister of Tourism of the FDRE. In the opening remark, his excellency highlighted the main development achievements and challenges faced by Ethiopia. He also appreciated all participants especially who came from outside Ethiopia traveling miles of distance across Africa and beyond.
