The Ethiopian Economics Association organized a short term training on the techniques of Analyzing and Decomposing Inflation at EEA training room from March 8-9, 2021. During the two days training a total of 14 EEA members who came from different universities and research institutes attended .
Dr. Atnafu Gebremeskel from Addis Ababa University, and senior member of EEA, gave the training voluntarily. The trainees were introduced to the Central Statistics Agency’s dataset and techniques to analyze time series data, as well as how to decompose and analyze the inflation data of the country. His voluntary contribution was greatly appreciated by the participants and EEA.
