Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – February 19, 2026 – The Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA) and Wollo University have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in research, capacity building, and event organization.
The MoU was signed by Professor Tassew Woldehanna, President of EEA, and Dr. Awol Seid, President of Wollo University, marking a new chapter of partnership between the two institutions. Through this agreement, both parties aim to share knowledge, organize joint conferences and workshops, exchange data, and support each other’s efforts in producing evidence-based solutions for economic and social development in Ethiopia, across Africa, and beyond.
This collaboration highlights the commitment of EEA and Wollo University to strengthening academic and policy linkages, promoting high-quality research, and contributing to informed decision-making at national and regional levels.
