The Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA) and Shega Media and Technology PLC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on data-informed policymaking, research output dissemination, and innovative data visualization.

The MoU was signed by Professor Tassew Woldehanna, President of EEA, and Mr. Anteneh Tesfaye from Shega Media and Technology PLC. The agreement reflects EEA’s strong commitment to working closely with institutional members to ensure that high-quality economic research effectively informs policy and public discourse.

Through this partnership, the two institutions will collaborate on research, capacity building, and joint events, with a particular emphasis on transforming research findings into accessible insights through data visualization, analytical storytelling, and digital media platforms. The MoU also prioritizes the wide dissemination of research outputs to enhance evidence-based decision-making in Ethiopia and beyond.

The partnership brings together EEA’s rigorous economic research and policy expertise with Shega’s strengths in data, media, and visualization, creating new opportunities for impactful, data-driven policy dialogue at national and regional levels.
