Dear Members,
As you know, EEA invited you to attend the 28th Annual General Assembly on November 6, 2021. However, due to the national security issue, it was postponed until further notice. Now, EEA management and the executive committee members in consultation with the relevant government offices agreed to conduct the 28th GA meeting on December 18, 2021. The meeting comprises panel discussion, blood donation and other pertinent ordinary agendas such as the EEA’s 2020/21 performance and Audit reports, and the 2021/22 annual plan will be presented, discussed and approved. On this occasion, a new Vice president and one EC member will be elected. The 2021 Eshetu Chole Memorial Award for Best M.Sc. Thesis and Mekonnen Tadesse Memorial Award for best BA essay will be conducted. For EEA members living in other countries we have created an online zoom link to allow their participation. These members are expected to confirm their virtual participation for the GA and we will send them a zoom meeting link. This is therefore to cordially invite all EEA members to attend the GA on December 18, 2021 at EEA’s multipurpose bulling starting from 8:30 AM.
